OPENING NIGHT

OPENING NIGHT

What an opening night it was!!

“Letters to Santa…UNMASKED”  opened on Saturday December 3rd and was a smashing success!  What an amazing crowd!  I gotta tell you, Brenda and I write this stuff and it’s funny to us.  That’s our criteria, if it makes us laugh, we figure it will make others laugh too.  We hope it does, sometimes we have a very twisted view of the world!

So, therein lies the risky tightrope walking act of both writing and performing comedy; you have no idea what will happen until the show is live in front of a crowd.  And, well, damn…this show works!  It’s really funny!

From one of our followers on TikTok after seeing the show opening night,
“One of the funniest show I’ve honestly ever seen!”

I think the best part for me was that my best friend since the FIRST GRADE, Jeannie Randall and her brother came to the show.  Jeannie is one of the most genuine beautiful people on this planet and has a laugh that is brilliantly infectious.

This is a gift Jeannie bought me on opening night. She bought it four years ago for me and has been saving it for the perfect moment. Brenda is a bit frightened of it.

I call it, “Christmas Swimming Fish With Arms and a High Heel”

In the show, there is a small nod to her mother, Whiffer who unfortunately left this earth this past year.  Whiffer like all of her children was the most genuine, authentic, joyful person I’ve met.  She had a wicked sense of humor, the best sandwich shop in the universe, and hopefully I made her proud.  Having Jeannie and her brother Jeff there, was a special energy.

If you want to find out this awesomely funny bit, contributed by Whiffer, come check out the show.  Here is a small tease.

Want to know more about this? Come to the show and all will be revealed!
